The Écorce candle holder exclusively at Caroline Andréoni La Maison is made of white chamotte stoneware, a smooth clay to which crushed terracotta has been added, giving it an ideal texture for modeling and an authentic grain. It is available raw or enameled in cognac and green. In both finishes, the interior is transparent enameled in order to use them as a vase. The Écorce collection is made using the plaque technique and entirely hand-shaped. Always very inspired by nature and the majesty of trees, Adeline Delesalle offers these pieces with "scratched" parts reminding her of tree bark, major elements of the natural environment and her work.
