The emotions provided by the elements of nature are at the origin of Emma Karila's artistic practice. Nature as an attempt to “describe the world” gives him a limitless source of inspiration.

For the artist, the paths we take in a natural environment, sometimes lost, are linked to the path of a life and infinite paths.

A meeting point between the exterior world and our interior lives, man has, according to her, the privilege of receiving impressions from nature, which his works - between strength and fragility - come to represent.

Thanks to the material of the different mediums used, clay, paint, paper, ink, bark... Emma Karila tries to access the poetic dimension of the world.
