The emotions that the elements of nature provide are at the origin of Emma Karila's artistic practice. Nature as an attempt to "describe the world" gives her a limitless source of inspiration.

For the artist, the paths we take in a natural environment, sometimes lost, are connected to the paths of a life and infinite trails.

A meeting point between the outside world and our inner lives, man has, according to her, the privilege of receiving impressions from nature, which his works - between strength and fragility - come to represent.

Thanks to the material of the different mediums used, clay, paint, paper, ink, bark...
