Alice Laurent has had several professional lives, she has lived in Vietnam and Argentina. She founded Maison Saman with her partner Antoine in 2018. Today, she is a furniture & decoration designer, business manager, and mother of two children. She designed the Enridis collection for Maison Saman. True jewels of wood craftsmanship, the Enridis collection reveals real wood carving work carried out in an artisanal manner. Maison Saman is a French brand based in the Chevreuse Valley. The brand was founded by two lovers of know-how and materials. Both artisans, designers and publishers, Alice Laurent and Antoine Horlait are committed to offering a unique sensory experience, a refined universe.

Their signature? A passion for working with burnt wood in the style of Yakisugi, also called Shou Sugi Ban in Japan.
